GRACE (Gynae-Oncology Research and Clinical Excellence) is a charity based at the Royal Surrey hospital. They raise awareness of women's cancers, and fundraise to improve research and treatment.
The charity was set up just over 10 years ago and has a fantastic following, but they wanted to reach out to a wider audience, and particularly a younger demographic who were missing out on vital information about gynae cancers.
GRACE has three key areas of work - awareness, fundraising, and research. Each area requires a different layer of the brand, to appear informative, engaging, or scientific, depending on the application.
The new tagline “Helping women face cancer” was developed to steer clear of the ‘win or lose’ message that is often associated with cancer charities. GRACE don’t believe that cancer is a fight, they believe it is an issue that needs facing.
